The adoration of the Magi

Gracias a la publicación Looting in Europe, de la serie “One Hundred Missing Objects”, editada por International Council of Museums (ICOM) en 2001; fue recuperada esta pieza atribuida a Parmigianino. La obra había sido robada el 24 de diciembre de 1994 de la Iglesia y Convento de San Domenico en Taggia y fue restituida a su lugar por la policía italiana el 12 de junio de 2003.

Thanks to Looting in Europe in the series “One Hundred Missing Objects”, published in 2001, this work has been identified and restituted. This painting had been stolen on 24 December 1994 from the Church of St Dominic, Taggia, Italy, and was recovered by the Italian Police on 12 June 2003.
